Biography:
As I.T.L came to age of 13 he purchased his first record, mixer and turntables.

This was all inspired after extensively watching DMC world championship finals of 1998. The young I.T.L. was surprised to see the numerous tricks and scratches performed by the dj’s. I.T.L. started using the old vinyl records and old beltdriven turntable of his parents, which resulted in destroying an entire musical collection.

At the age of 15 (numerous records later and now owning 2 turntables and a mixer) I.T.L. got himself a job at a 2 recording studios as janitor. Whilst cleaning the studios he got the chance to practice on state of the art turntables, mixers, and music production material. One studio situated in Amsterdam (CruiseControl, also founders of Tony Scott and Dignity) gave him the chance to learn all the aspects of recognizing floorfilling rnb and hiphop tracks. The other situated in Hoorn (“Quiet Storm”, also known for their alliances with FUBU/ENYCE/SOUTHPOLE) gave him the chance to meet and network with producers, singers, and managers from all over he world.

After a while I.T.L. had his dj skills on a novice level and had a very great advantage in getting the hottest tunes firsthand from all the major record labels such as; Universal, DefJam, Arista, Warner, Interscope, Loud Records etc. With a recordcollection as great as most of the hottest dj’s in The Netherlands, I.T.L. felt that it was time for him to start making moves towards the clubs. When he reached the age of 17,5 I.T.L. could now proclaim his spot amongst the European dj scene.

The owner of one of the recording studios took I.T.L.with him to almost every V.I.P. he had an invitation for. I.T.L. networked and started his own marketing campaign with actually no financial recourses. It only took him 1 Yankees Baseball coat with his name printed on the back, and several visits to special events. This went on for like about a year or so, then a promotor who knew his name but not his game approached him at the local recordstore where every dj came on Thursday night.

A week later I.T.L. had his first official warm up set at the hottest spot in Amsterdam (Escape Venue) at that time, he stood his ground and earned; Respect, Love and more performances after this day. Now, in fast forward I.T.L. is a well respected steady name. Performing at clubs all over the globe in countries listed under here. I.T.L. is truly a star on the rise.

DJ I.T.L.’s efforts haven’t gone by without catching the interest of the game’s biggest players. 2004 was the year of enhancements in several ways. Stanton® provided DJ I.T.L. as only RnB & HipHop Dj an endorsement deal for their FinalScratch2.0 product and accessories.

In 2005 signed to Ryan Leslie’s label: NextSelection© as the official dj and landing a mixtape deal on BadBoy worldwide. This dj from a small country on European map is doing big and subliminal things.

Signing to NextSelection© (the sister company of Bad Boy Records© responsible for the hitsingles: Cassie – Me & You | Cheri Dennis – I Luv you | Donell Jones – Better Start Talking) resulted in I.T.L. landing a full endorsement by New Era Cap® (Europe). New Era took notice in his image and saw a reoccurrence of their 59/50 Caps product at every performance (Radio, TV, Club) I.T.L. has, and the rest is known.

I.T.L. can be defined as a “Crowd-Mover” in a National and International way. His dj-sets are a journey for visitors. They will be shown new music aswell as today’s music from a different way than they know it.

I.T.L. is known for his exclusives, fast cuts, and heavy rotation. During his set he uses the microphone to entertain people unlike most dj’s. With the power of his turntables, finalscratch2 and microphone he has a “Special.Delivery” that get people hyped throughout his performances full of energy.

DJ I.T.L. has a typical style that can't be touched by dj's.
